Diagnostic gap analysis in animal health through combining public databases

Description
This article presents a data-driven methodology to identify diagnostic gaps in animal health. By combining DISCONTOOLS’ expert prioritizations, the LAHD’s commercial diagnostic availability, and WOAH WAHIS outbreak data, the study ranks diseases, highlights gaps in diagnostics, and suggests where research and innovation efforts should focus to improve disease control.
