Data for reproducing error metric comparison for the journal article "Aeolian Dust-Induced Losses in Solar Irradiance and PV Output: A Data-Driven Model and Forecast Framework over the East Mediterranean"

Description

The dataset includes:

  • PV Proxy (GHI W/m²): Photovoltaic-derived proxy for global horizontal irradiance.

  • CAMS (W/m²): Global horizontal irradiance from Copernicus Atmosphere Monitoring Service reanalysis.

  • XGBoost (W/m²): Machine learning–based irradiance predictions derived from atmospheric and surface variables.

The data are spatially aggregated to a regular grid and temporally aligned to enable direct comparison between observations, reanalysis products, and model outputs. These processed datasets support the reproducibility of the results presented in the associated publication.
