Description
This dataset supports the article “From fork to farm, locally: Social acceptance pathways for human excreta-derived fertilisers across three European regions,” published in Socio-Ecological Practice Research (2025).
The dataset contains anonymised survey responses and supporting data collected within the Horizon Europe P2GreeN project (Grant Agreement No. 101081883).
Data were collected between September–December 2023 (online survey) and January–March 2024 (stakeholder interviews) in three pilot regions:

Gotland (Sweden)

North German Plain region (Germany)

Axarquía region (Spain)
The survey investigates social acceptance, trust, perceived risks, NIMBY attitudes, and willingness to pay regarding fertilisers derived from human excreta.
All data are anonymised in accordance with GDPR and research ethics regulations.
