Thermal Interface Performance Benchmark Dataset for Consumer GPUs (Pre- and Post-Repaste Validation)

Description

This dataset contains benchmark results, thermal telemetry logs, and validation measurements from multiple consumer GPU thermal interface service cases.

Each case documents baseline performance prior to repaste and post-service performance under identical test conditions. The objective is to quantify the impact of thermal interface material degradation and restoration on hotspot temperature, hotspot-to-core delta, VRAM junction temperature, fan behavior, power draw, sustained clock frequency, and benchmark performance.

For each case, the dataset may include:

– Synthetic benchmark outputs (e.g., Superposition 1080p Extreme or equivalent controlled workloads)
– Peak and steady-state thermal metrics
– Hotspot and hotspot-to-core delta measurements
– Power and fan telemetry
– Ambient temperature documentation
– Optical validation data (when available)
– Infrared thermography summaries (when available)

All measurements are conducted under controlled ambient conditions and identical workload configurations before and after intervention.

The dataset is designed to support:

– Quantitative analysis of thermal interface degradation effects
– Evaluation of hotspot behavior and contact uniformity
– Correlation between thermal headroom restoration and sustained boost performance
– Development of AI-assisted diagnostics and computer-vision validation workflows
– Reproducibility and independent validation of thermal service methodologies

Each entry represents a real-world consumer GPU case study and is structured to allow comparative analysis across architectures, board partners, cooling designs, and service methods.

This repository will be continuously updated with additional validated cases.
