Quick Density Squeeze Demo: Water Drop Spread - Zero-Cost Proof
Authors/Creators
Description
Drop 0.5 ml water on a flat glass surface and film the radial spread at 240 fps. Observe perfect circular symmetry and exact stop radius. Standard Young-Laplace model attributes this to surface tension gravity inertia balance but offers no prediction for circle or stop point. The density squeeze model predicts radius stabilization where radial press balances s = max(1 - kappa rho ds 0.01) with kappa approximately 7.39e5 m2/kg. No wetting or contact angle required. Film raw no edits. Measure radius vs time. If matches kappa rho fit not Laplace curve density press wins.
