Description

The article deals with the study of the relationship between written and voiced variants of Elevator Speech monologues within the framework of the paradigm of linguistic variantology. It contributes to the concept of expanding the boundaries of linguistic variantology by considering the sounding and recognized text as variants of the written text. The voicing of a prepared monologue, embodied in the primary written format, is interpreted as a process and result of interpretative activity. It is established that the degree of variability and interpretation depends, among other things, on extralinguistic factors, the need for inter-code conversion. Various ways of folding and deploying information embedded in the written version and then reproduced in a sound form have been identified. The tendency towards the identity of the spoken and written text can be traced in variants where the addressee knew about the recording of speech, a large interpretation of the written text in cases when the recording was not known.

Key words: interpretation, sounding speech, variantology, identity and difference, intra-linguistic translation, secondary text, derivation
