Integrated Stratigraphic Constraints and Fault Slip-Rate Modeling for Plio–Pleistocene Sequences in the Central Adraitic Sea
Authors/Creators
Description
This dataset contains stratigraphic, geophysical, and kinematic parameters used to constrain the evolution of Plio–Pleistocene fault systems. It includes (1) stratigraphic ages and associated uncertainties based on published chronostratigraphic frameworks, (2) interval velocity models applied to the main stratigraphic units, (3) calculated fault slip and slip rates derived from restored cross-sections with related uncertainties, and (4) parameters of statistically fitted slip-rate curves with goodness-of-fit metrics and time-derivative estimates.
The dataset supports quantitative reconstruction of fault activity and temporal variations in slip rates through integrated stratigraphic constraints and velocity modeling.
