Aplicaciones de la integración de drones, fotogrametría y sistemas de información geográfica en la planificación urbana de contextos vulnerables: un estudio de caso en Sierra Leona
Description
This article presents the work carried out in a funded research project, which employs the integrated application of drones, photogrammetry, and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) for the diagnosis and urban planning in a small community in the city of Makeni, Sierra Leone. A methodology has been developed using low-cost technologies for the creation of a digital cartography to support conventional practices in the field of urban planning. This methodology integrates open data provided by public administrations, information collected during fieldwork, and data obtained through photogrammetry using aerial photographs taken with a drone.
