Educational technology experts working with the British Council looked at the current literature and consulted a range of people to understand their views on this subject. 

This paper explores the intersection of AI and English language education, highlighting the potential benefits and challenges of integrating AI-driven tools and technologies into language instruction. We examine the role of AI in enhancing language acquisition, improving accessibility, and fostering critical thinking skills.  The implications of AI on teacher training, curriculum design, and assessment practices. By synthesizing theoretical insights and empirical evidence to leverage AI in language education effectively.
