Creating Open Interactive Learning materials using TeachBooks

This is the presentation shown at the start of the workshop held at Open Education Week 2026 at Delft University of Technology. It was announced as follows:

• Practical TeachBooks tools and workflow for collaboratively creating an open interactive learning module
• An overview of the support/services available for OILMs and OITs at TU Delft
• Tips for integrating interactive learning materials effectively into your teaching
• How to publish your open interactive learning module with the Library

Who is this workshop for?

This workshop is ideal if you have an idea for a JupyterBook but haven’t started yet, are curious about creating your own interactive learning material, or simply want to explore and have questions about TeachBooks or OILMs.

Note: Please bring your laptop (you’re also welcome to join as an observer). No special software is required, just a web browser. Creating a GitHub account in advance will save you time.
