Neutron Stars and the TOV Limit as V* Crossing: Péclet Dynamics at the Gravitational Collapse Threshold
Description
Derives the Tolman-Oppenheimer-Volkoff (TOV) limit as a V* crossing in the void framework. Below TOV (~2.3 solar masses): neutron star (constraint specification holds, matter maintains structure, Pe finite). Above TOV: Pe → ∞ in milliseconds as gravitational collapse creates a black hole. Neutron star mergers (GW170817, GWTC-3) provide LIGO empirical anchors. The mass gap (2.5–5 solar masses) is predicted as a consequence of the Pe discontinuity at V* crossing. Gravitational wave standard sirens provide an independent future test of the Hubble tension Pe-regime boundary derived in Paper 71B.
