Description

Community-wide health education campaigns have been implemented in various coastal towns of Ghana to raise awareness about non-communicable diseases (NCDs). These initiatives are part of broader public health strategies aimed at improving community health outcomes. This commentary reviews existing literature and case studies of health education campaigns conducted across Ghanaian coastal towns, with a focus on qualitative analysis to understand community engagement and feedback. These campaigns demonstrate promising potential for broader implementation in other regions facing similar health challenges. Future studies should consider scaling up these successful initiatives and incorporating more interactive methods to enhance long-term behavioural change.
