Learning for Democracy and Civic Action: An Educators' Guide

Description

This guide outlines the pedagogical model developed through this research, so that educators may run their own Critical ChangeLabs with young people. A Critical ChangeLab is a flexible, participatory learning process that helps participants to explore real-world issues that affect their lives and communities, think critically about democracy and power, and take actions towards positive change. Rather than delivering fixed content or curricula, the approach centres on dialogue, collaboration, creativity, and action. Students are encouraged to ask questions, share experiences, and learn with and from one another.
