Learning Russian as a foreign language presents various linguistic and methodological challenges for Uzbek students. These difficulties arise due to structural differences between the Uzbek and Russian languages, including grammar, phonetics, vocabulary, and syntax. This article analyzes the most common problems faced by Uzbek learners when studying Russian and suggests effective teaching strategies to overcome these barriers. The study emphasizes the importance of comparative analysis, communicative methods, and systematic practice in improving language proficiency. Understanding these challenges can help educators design more effective Russian language instruction for Uzbek students.
