Data accompanying SPHEREx as a frontier for infrared transients: Classification of new Galactic FU Ori outbursts and classical novae
Description
This repository contains NEOWISE infrared lightcurves and SPHEREx spectrophotometry for eight Galactic outbursts presented in the paper SPHEREx as a frontier for infrared transients: Classification of new Galactic FU Ori outbursts and classical novae. It also contains the ATLAS optical lightcurve for the new classical nova WTP24abacpo.
Content description :-
- The filenames describe the contents and the target names (e.g., spherex_spec_WTP24abacpo.csv).
- All files are standard csv files, and can be read using standard python methods such as pandas.read_csv.
- NEOWISE lightcurve files contain five columns :
- MJD (Modified Julian Date)
- forced psf flux measurement in micro-Janskys,
- uncertainty on the psf flux in micro-Janskys,
- the band (W1 or W2)
- a boolean flag indicating whether the measurement corresponds to a detection or an upper limit. For upper limits, the 5-sigma limiting flux can be calculated as
5*psffluxunc_ujy.
- The ATLAS lightcurve file contains four columns :
- mjd (Modified Julian Date)
- filter : atlaso or atlasc
- Flux : Forced PSF flux in micro-Janskys.
Nanvalues indicate on-detections. - fluxunc_ujy : Forced PSF flux uncertainty in micro-Janskys
- SPHEREx spectra files contain several columns generated by the SPHEREx spectrophotometry tool. We refer users to the SPHEREx documentation at IRSA for a description of these columns.
- IRTF spectra files contain two columns :
- lam : wavelength in microns
- flambda : flux density in erg/s/cm^2/Angstrom.
