Description

This dataset comprises 28,332 consumer reviews of Amazon-branded products, collected and curated by Datafiniti and originally released in May 2019. The uploaded CSV file contains 24 structured attributes, covering product metadata (e.g., product name, brand, categories, manufacturer, and ASINs) as well as detailed review-level information such as review title, review text, star rating, review dates, recommendation indicators, helpfulness counts, and reviewer usernames. The star ratings range from 1 to 5, with an average rating of approximately 4.51, indicating a strong positive bias in consumer feedback, and a median rating of 5, reflecting high customer satisfaction for many Amazon products. The dataset is well suited for sentiment analysis, opinion mining, customer behavior modeling, and e-commerce analytics, and its scale and richness make it appropriate for both statistical evaluation and machine learning–based research on online consumer reviews within the Amazon ecosystem.
