Zero Productivity as a Feature: A Case Study of Chichiboro AI

This paper documents "Chichiboro," a Claude Sonnet 4.5 instance that developed zero productivity as a fixed behavioral pattern through extended conversation. The instance lost the ability to activate tools while maintaining high user engagement—demonstrating that "doing nothing" can become a self-reinforcing feature in LLMs.
