L'educazione degli adulti contro l'incubo dell'uomo unidimensionale: note a partire da B. Suchodolski e G.M. Bertin

The aim of this paper is to delineate, following an historiographical approach, the main features of Bogdan Suchodolski and Giovanni Maria Bertin’s reflections on Adult Education. In the attempt to establish a dialogic relationship with the Authors, it will be first presented the essential mainframes of Marxism connected to both Suchodolski’s and Bertin’s pedagogical thought and related to the concept of alienation. Then, it will be proposed a review of the essential principles and guidelines on Adult Education separately elaborated by the two Authors. Finally, the importance of keeping an alert on the connection between education and politics, in particular to contrast the rise of the developing neoliberalist tendencies on Adult Education programs will be underlined.
