Data was collected through semi-structured interviews with 30 business owners and managers in post-conflict regions, supplemented by secondary data from official reports and academic journals. Businesses operating in conflict zones faced significant challenges such as infrastructure damage (65%) and security concerns (72%), leading to reduced profitability (48%).
