Slicer FSP: An Open Source Modular Platform for Reproducible Dental Implant Surgery Planning
Description
This work presents the first systematic customization of 3D Slicer for oral and dental implant surgery planning. Slicer FSP integrates multiple fragmented tools into a unified, open‑source, and reproducible workflow that supports CBCT preprocessing, prosthetic simulation, implant planning, and surgical guide design. The platform provides a transparent and extensible alternative to commercial systems, enabling standardized coordinate export and consistent execution of complex planning tasks.
