MAL stands for Morphologically-inflected Affective Lexicon and it is indeed an affective lexicon for the Italian language achieved by expanding Sentix v3.11 with inflected forms derived from Morph-it! (E. Zanchetta, M. Baroni, Morph-it! A free corpusbased morphological resource for the Italian language, in: Proceedings of Corpus Linguistics Conference Series 2005 (ISSN 1747-9398), volume 1, University of Birmingham, 2005, pp. 1–12).
