Description

๐Œ๐€๐๐ฅ๐ข๐ญ๐ž is an open-source software package for modeling electromagnetic resonators using ๐ช๐ฎ๐š๐ฌ๐ข๐ง๐จ๐ซ๐ฆ๐š๐ฅ ๐ฆ๐จ๐๐ž๐ฌ (QNMs). Designed primarily for use with COMSOL (and adaptable to other Maxwell solvers such as FEM or RCWA), MANlite is a simplified and more accessible version of MAN ( https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.6850327 ).

Why ๐Œ๐€๐๐ฅ๐ข๐ญ๐ž?

·         Simplified and transparent structure

·         User-friendly implementation

·         Focused core functionalities

·         Lower entry barrier to QNM methods

While lighter than MAN, it provides a clean and efficient framework to start working with QNM-based electromagnetic modeling. Perfect for newcomers — and an easy transition for experienced MAN users.

Notes

MANlite is part of a broader ecosystem of open-source tools (e.g., RETICOLO, RETOP) also on Zenodo and briefly introduced at https://www.lp2n.institutoptique.fr/light-complex-nanostructures
