EPREM Widespread SEP Events: Source code and scripts

Description

This record contains two types of software relevant to "Quantifying the Effects of Parameters in Widespread SEP Events with EPREM" by Young and Poduval:

  1. the EPREM source code @ v0.14.0 (as compressed archives)
  2. the scripts called to produce the published figures

The scripts call routines from the eprem-analysis repository, which includes the following Git tags

  • widespread-v1 corresponds to the submitted manuscript and requires eprempy version 0.9.3 or later
  • widespread-v2 corresponds to the revised manuscript and requires eprempy version 0.11.0 or later

The runtime configuration script and point-observer output files from each simulation run are available at zenodo.org/records/17196185.

Notes

CHANGELOG

v1: The version corresponding to the submitted manuscript.

v2: The version corresponding to the initial revision of the manuscript (not resubmitted to journal). 

v3: The version corresponding to the final revision of the manuscript, with improvements to plotting routines.
