Chronosomnobulia: A Conceptual Model of Executive Regulation in Sleep Initiation Timing

Description

This paper proposes chronosomnobulia as a narrowly defined subcomponent of behavioral self-regulation, emphasizing top-down modulation of sleep initiation timing independent of fluctuating affective or environmental stimuli. The construct is positioned within behavioral chronobiology and framed descriptively rather than therapeutically. Its relevance may extend to contexts in which circadian stability is vulnerable.
