DIGITAL TOOLS IN MSME FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT: A SECONDARY DATA REVIEW

Description

This research synthesizes secondary data (2017–2025) to evaluate the adoption and impact of digital tools—UPI, fintech apps, ERP, and cloud accounting—on financial management in Indian MSMEs. Trends show 50–60% adoption of digital payments, yielding 15–20% cost reductions and 25–30% efficiency gains, with urban sectors leading. The paper discusses regional disparities, owner education as an enabler, and challenges like cybersecurity and rural access gaps. Findings suggest that digital integration enhances budgeting, credit access, and profitability, while policy subsidies and literacy programs are needed to bridge divides and maximize benefits for MSME competitiveness.
