This study examines the impact of government schemes on fostering prosperity in rural and urban regions of India. It analyzes how public welfare programmes contribute to socio-economic development through improvements in income generation, employment opportunities, access to education, healthcare services, and overall living standards. The research also evaluates the impact of the effectiveness in implementation of government schemes on the development of both rural and urban regions. The study uses both qualitative and quantitative methods, such as data, graphs, tables, charts, etc., to evaluate the impact of the government initiatives on both regions. The findings aim to identify key challenges in scheme implementation and provide policy recommendations to enhance the efficiency, equity, and sustainability of government programmes for balanced rural–urban development and inclusive national growth.
