The Image-less Archetype: A Phenomenological Re-evaluation of the Individuation Process in the Context of Congenital Aphantasia
Authors/Creators
Description
This theoretical essay investigates the process of Jungian individuation within the neurocognitive framework of congenital aphantasia. By deconstructing the traditional 'visual bias' in analytical psychology, the author proposes a new model of 'Active Conceptualization' and introduces the practice of chronosomnambulism as a tool for psychic integration. The work asserts that psychological wholeness (the Self) is accessible through meaning and somatic resonance, independent of the ability to generate voluntary visual imagery.
