Inclusivity, Ethics, and Accessibility for Learners with Disabilities

Description

Persons with disabilities deserve the same rights and privileges as everyone else, but in reality, beneath their constant adaptation in society lies an unspoken reality- a narrative of silence that is rarely heard, yet deeply felt. This book highlights a wide range of multidisciplinary topics, each connected to disability from diverse perspectives. Together, these contributions invite readers to broaden their understanding of inclusivity and to rethink traditional approaches to education, ethics, and access. The book includes contributions from experts and emerging writers. This book is for everyone, including, but not limited to, students, educators, researchers, practitioners, policymakers, and readers eager to learn, reflect, and engage more deeply with issues affecting learners with disabilities.

We owe our deepest gratitude to all the authors who trusted the vision of creating and publishing this work as an OER. Their generosity, expertise, and commitment made this journey possible.

We also thank Rhoda Garland, Commissioner for the Rights of Persons with Disability (Malta), for her insightful Foreword.
