The Food and Beverage industry plays a strategic role in the country's economic growth. Understanding the factors that influence the long-term success of F&B businesses is important and interesting. This study aims to analyze the role of work attitudes as a mediating variable in the influence of leadership style and work environment on employee performance in F&B companies in Indonesia. A sample of 182 operational employees was taken using convenience sampling techniques. A quantitative approach with SEM PLS analysis was used to test the influence of variables in the study. The results showed that the work environment did not have a direct influence on employee performance, but there was a full mediating role of work attitudes in influencing employee performance. This study also concluded that leadership style directly influenced work attitudes and employee performance, and the work environment directly influenced work attitudes. The originality of this study emphasized the importance of work attitudes related to initiatives to improve better work processes and the importance of leadership that tends to be autocratic where leaders provide clear directions to complete work well which will have an impact on positive work attitudes and good performance.
