ELASTIC Project – Review Period 1 (RP1) Presentation: Overview, Technical Progress, and Early Results
Description
This presentation provides a comprehensive overview of the ELASTIC project at the end of Review Period 1. It introduces the project vision and objectives, presents the scientific and technical approach, and summarises the main results achieved across all Work Packages.
The material covers the overall ELASTIC architecture and key innovations in secure, privacy-preserving, and efficient edge-to-cloud service orchestration, leveraging technologies such as WebAssembly, eBPF, Confidential Computing, Trusted Execution Environments, serverless/FaaS, and federated learning.
It also presents the progress on the two ELASTIC demonstrators, including early MVPs, component integration status, and validation plans, as well as the roadmap and next steps for each Work Package in the upcoming project phases.
This presentation was prepared in the context of the ELASTIC project’s first review and is intended for dissemination to the scientific and technical community, as well as stakeholders interested in secure and trustworthy next-generation edge-to-cloud and 6G-oriented computing platforms.
