Description

Jalview is a free cross-platform program for multiple sequence alignment editing, visualisation and analysis. Use it to align, view and edit sequence alignments, analyse them with phylogenetic trees and principal components analysis (PCA) plots and explore molecular structures and annotation.

Jalview 2.11.1.4 (9 March 2021) was the fourth patch release in the 2.11.1 series, primarily addressing a critical bug where Jalview would occasionally hang when viewing structures in Jmol. This release also introduced new configuration options for disabling web service connections through .jalview_properties tokens, giving users improved control over network services including the news browser, linkout URL downloads, and BIOJSHTML templates. A "Discover Web Services" option was added to trigger one-off JABAWS discovery when autodiscovery was disabled.
