AP₁ — Ambient OS: Structural Definition

Abstract

AP₁ defines the structural grammar of Ambient OS, a reversible, field-based computing model designed to carry human presence rather than extract from it.

It formalizes the global layer stack, universal semantic fields, gesture semantics, navigation constraints, aura and ChronoSense behavior, and the non-agentic role of AI.

Central principles include reversibility (ΔR), meaning-before-language, field-first interaction, and HCP-1 (Human Carrying Principle).

AP₁ is normative and forms the foundation for all subsequent Ambient OS specifications.
