Temnora elegans polia Rothschild, 1904

COMMON NAME(S): Hawk moth, Sphinx moth or Hornworm.

SYNONYM(S): None.

IUCN STATUS: Not Evaluated (NE).

DISTRIBUTION: Angola, Comoros, Democratic Republic of Congo, Gabon, Kenya, Malawi, South Africa, Uganda, Zambia, Zimbabwe.

LOCALITY IN ZAMBIA: Mbala, in the Northern Province; Kafue, in Lusaka Province.

LARVAL HOSTPLANT(S): Larval foodplants include the Rubiaceae species Psychotria capensis (Eckl.) Vatke (African Moths 2019).
