India is a developing country, and Maharashtra has a rich cultural and natural heritage. It is the country's oldest industrial centre, and it has made a significant contribution to the growth of the country's economy. Nandurbar District is part of the Khandesh region. Nandurbar has one of the most geographically, culturally, and religiously rich heritage sites in Maharashtra. Administratively, Nandurbar district is divided into six tehsils, such as Akkalkuwa, Dhadgaon, Taloda, Shahada, Nandurbar, and Navapur. A Geographical Study of Developmental Strategy for the Growth of Tourism (DSGT) in Nandurbar District, Maharashtra, highlights the region's vast potential driven by its unique location in the Satpuda Ranges, featuring sites like Toranmal hill station, dense forests, and religious spots. The development of Nandurbar district depends on the availability of natural, cultural, and geographical tourism potential features as well as available tourism development facilities. This region has one of the greatest scopes for sustainable tourism development in the Nandurbar District of Maharashtra. The researcher has discussed in this paper how the tourism development strategy for the Nandurbar district relies on the seven key indicators and strategies for the growth of tourism development in the district. Developmental key strategies include developing infrastructure, improving road connectivity, creating eco-friendly accommodation, and promoting, marketing and branding of eco-tourism and pilgrimage promoting sustainable tourism to boost economic growth to attract both national and international tourists.
