The Effective Background Scalar Field in MUT v5.8: A Dimensionally Consistent Field-Theoretic Formulation

This paper presents a dimensionally consistent reformulation of the core sector of the Myominaung Unified Theory (MUT). The previously conceptual “Awareness” substrate is rigorously redefined as an effective background scalar field ΦA. The fundamental coupling constant A is shown to have units of mass per unit length (kg/m), corresponding to an energy-per-length tension scale. A minimal field Lagrangian is introduced, and inertial mass is derived as a resonance phenomenon via frequency-dependent coupling to ΦA. The framework eliminates metaphysical ambiguity and establishes a consistent, publish-ready field-theoretic structure, suitable for further development of gravitational and electromagnetic sectors. Previous Awareness-based versions are formally superseded.
