DFAS-OAFS-C01: DFAS Open Applied Finance Science Charter 01
Authors/Creators
Description
This record archives DFAS-OAFS-C01, the foundational charter of the DFAS Open Applied Finance Science (OAFS) framework.
The charter establishes a live, open, and time-stamped methodological model for applied financial research. It is designed to document the formation, testing, revision, and stabilization of knowledge during its emergence, rather than through post-hoc reconstruction after conclusions are reached.
DFAS treats the research process itself—observations, assumptions, methodological decisions, failures, revisions, and provisional closures—as a first-order scientific artifact. Methodological legitimacy is grounded in chronological traceability, non-retroactivity, internal coherence, and continuous public exposure to scrutiny, rather than reliance on institutional mediation or retrospective validation alone.
This framework is platform-agnostic and complementary to traditional academic publishing. Journal publication, where applicable, is treated as a possible downstream outcome, not as a prerequisite for methodological legitimacy or scientific priority.
This Zenodo record constitutes the authoritative, immutable, and time-stamped archival version of DFAS-OAFS-C01.
Project-level documentation, contextual notes, and organizational materials are maintained via the associated OSF project hub:
