Temporal Order from Structural Asymmetry and Refinement History
Authors/Creators
Description
We argue that temporal direction does not originate from dynamics, but from structure.
Within an information-density framework previously introduced, minimization of refinement
growth selects four effective dimensions and produces an intrinsic asymmetry: only one direction
supports unbounded refinement.
This direction forms an infinite inclusion chain, establishing an ordering prior to spacetime
dynamics. Action principles and variational descriptions then arise on top of this structure
rather than generating it.
The present work makes explicit this structural–dynamical separation, providing a transpar-
ent global picture of the framework.
