Digital Certificate Automation System with Secure Multi-Level Approval Workflow

The Digital Certificate Automation System is a web-based application designed to
automate the academic certificate issuance process in educational institutions. Traditional manual systems involve paperwork, delays, and administrative inefficiencies.
This system introduces a secure multi-level approval workflow where students apply
online, followed by approval from the Head of Department (HOD) and Principal. Upon
final approval, certificates are automatically generated in PDF format and made available for download. The system implements role-based authentication, secure session
handling, and token-based password reset mechanisms. Built using MongoDB, Express.js, and Node.js with a scalable frontend architecture, the system replicates realworld academic ERP modules while enhancing transparency and efficiency.
