n Affordable Neutron Source for Chemists: Hydrogen-Catalysed Neutron Production in Diverging Magnetic Fields

This paper present a design rational for scaling thermosphere neutron production to operate efficiently in a lab.  A demo version can be cobbled together for less than $15k it a lab with existing vacuum kit and clean low pressure hydrogen. Physics to back up the proposed neutron generation process is given in an appendix.
