Algebraic Analysis of the PCBR and the Jones Manoel 2026 Candidacy: The Luhmann–Maury Framework
Authors/Creators
Description
This report presents an algebraic and structural analysis of the Partido Comunista Brasileiro Revolucionário (PCBR) and the 2026 federal deputy candidacy of Jones Manoel, using the Luhmann–Maury Framework for political system analysis.
The framework models political organizations as systems operating simultaneously in two orthogonal domains: P₀ (symbolic-discursive field) and P₁ (material-institutional field). P₀ includes ideological coherence, media reach, symbolic capital and narrative construction, while P₁ includes organizational structure, militant base, institutional presence, financial capacity and social insertion. The structural condition of a political organization is evaluated through the relation between these domains.
The analysis introduces two aggregate metrics: the Party Readiness Index (IPP), defined as a weighted linear form over ten observable variables, and Delta, a scale-invariant measure of structural asymmetry between symbolic strength and material organization. The report applies this formalism to empirical estimates of ten observables describing the current organizational state of the PCBR.
Results indicate a strong concentration of political capacity in the symbolic domain, combined with low institutional materialization, producing a high asymmetry (Delta = 3.06). The study discusses structural risks, organizational bottlenecks, coupling dynamics with other political actors, and projected scenarios for the 2026 electoral cycle. A strategic matrix and quantitative roadmap are proposed as consequences of the algebraic model.
The objective of this work is analytical rather than normative. The framework is intended as a generalizable methodological tool for the structural analysis of political organizations, allowing comparison between discursive strength and material organizational capacity across different contexts.
