Description
Euproutia aggravaria (Guenée, 1857a)
COMMON NAME(S): Pebble Emerald.
SYNONYM(S): Comibaena rhodosticta (Hampson, 1910c); Heterorachis rubella Warren, 1904; Metacineta semialbifrons (Prout L. B., 1915).
IUCN STATUS: Not Evaluated (NE).
DISTRIBUTION: Niger, Nigeria, Republic of Congo, South Africa, Zambia, Zimbabwe.
LOCALITY IN ZAMBIA: Petauke, E Luangwa District in Eastern Province is type locality for the synonym Euproutia aggravaria rhodosticta (Hampson, 1910c) above.
LARVAL HOSTPLANT(S): Host plants include Bauhinia sp. (Fabaceae).
