Are foot pumps or compression stockings more effective for preventing DVT?
Description
Intermittent pneumatic compression (IPC) devices appear more effective than graduated compression stockings (GCS) in preventing deep vein thrombosis (DVT), while venous foot pumps (VFP) also show significant efficacy, comparable to some pharmacological methods.
