Mazkur maqolada zamonaviy ta’lim jarayonida kognitiv yondashuvning ahamiyati hamda talabalarda mulohazali va ongli qaror qabul qilish ko‘nikmalarini shakllantirish masalalari ilmiy-nazariy jihatdan tahlil etiladi. Kognitiv psixologiyaning asosiy tushunchalari, qaror qabul qilish jarayonining bosqichlari va ularni ta’lim jarayonida maqsadli rivojlantirish imkoniyatlari yoritiladi. Muammoli ta’lim, refleksiya va metakognitiv ko‘nikmalarning o‘rni, shuningdek bahs-munozara hamda guruhiy muhokamalarning ta’lim samaradorligiga ta’siri asoslab beriladi.
