Description

This record contains two equivalent versions of the work “Reframing Atomic Stability as Temporal Viability”, provided in English (EN) and Portuguese (PT-BR) within a single canonical Zenodo deposit.

The work proposes a conceptual reframing of atomic stability, interpreting it not as static robustness, but as temporal viability—that is, the capacity of an atomic system to sustain its structural identity under the irreversible progression of time. Within this framework, time is treated not merely as an external parameter of evolution, but as an active structural constraint.

The framework introduces the concept of temporal pressure, defined as the structural demand imposed by continuous temporal progression, and defines coherence as the internal structural capacity required to preserve identity through continuous internal correction. The interaction between temporal pressure and coherence capacity determines whether a given atomic configuration remains viable over time.

From this perspective, phenomena such as decoherence, transitions, and decay are reinterpreted as consequences of accumulated temporal correction cost exceeding the system’s coherence capacity, rather than as isolated or instantaneous events.

The proposed framework does not modify quantum mechanics or its formal apparatus. Instead, it operates as a complementary structural layer that distinguishes between quantum permissibility and temporal sustainability. A quantum state may remain fully allowed within quantum theory while becoming temporally unsustainable under continuous temporal exposure.

This record integrates the conceptual axis of the VCore — Temporal Governance Framework, presenting an application of temporal viability and coherence principles at the atomic level as a minimal physical case. The English version is intended for international scientific circulation (preprints and journal submissions), while the Portuguese version ensures linguistic accessibility and conceptual transparency.
