USING STATISTICAL INDICATORS TO ASSESS GENDER EQUALITY

This academic article thoroughly analyzes the theoretical foundations, methodologies, challenges, and practices of using statistical indicators to assess gender equality. It highlights the crucial role of statistical data for objective evaluation, recognizing gender equality as an integral part of sustainable development. The article examines key international indices, indicator systems, and data collection/analysis methods, addressing issues like data quality, methodological complexities, and the inclusion of qualitative measures.
