Abstract
The article is intended for students and master’s students of various specialties who are interested in automating mathematical calculations. To find analytical solutions of ordinary second-order differential equations in the Maple program, the dsolve command is used. The possibilities of studying the uniqueness of solutions of second-order differential equations, solving the Cauchy problem or boundary value problems, verifying the obtained solution, obtaining numerical solutions, constructing graphs of numerical solutions, and analyzing approximate solutions and their graphs are investigated.
