Artykuł analizuje uniwersytet jako mikrokosmos demokracji liberalnej, wykorzystując film After the Hunt (reż. Luca Guadagnino) jako soczewkę interpretacyjną. Praca bada instytucjonalne mechanizmy władzy, neoliberalne przekształcenia szkolnictwa wyższego oraz ich konsekwencje dla autonomii akademickiej, wolności myśli i relacji wewnątrz wspólnoty uniwersyteckiej. Autorka wskazuje na napięcia między deklarowaną inkluzywnością a realiami hierarchii, mobbingu, elitaryzacji i komercjalizacji, podkreślając kryzys współczesnego uniwersytetu jako instytucji odtwarzającej szersze sprzeczności systemu liberalno-demokratycznego.

Abstract (English)

The article examines the university as a microcosm of liberal democracy, employing Luca Guadagnino’s film After the Hunt as an interpretive lens. It analyzes institutional mechanisms of power, neoliberal transformations in higher education, and their consequences for academic autonomy, freedom of thought, and relationships within the university community. The author highlights tensions between declared inclusivity and the realities of hierarchy, mobbing, elitism, and commercialization, emphasizing the crisis of the contemporary university as an institution reproducing broader contradictions of the liberal-democratic system.
