Device and method for active electrocaloric cooling through rapid oscillatory discharge of a polarized ferroelectric capacitor maintained below the Curie temperature

A method of electrocaloric cooling is presented by applying a high-frequency oscillatory discharge to a ferroelectric capacitor maintained at a temperature T < Tc but T > Tc – Δ, where Δ = 5–30 °C. This could be a ferroelectric refrigerator of interes for AI but not only and with ecological importance.
