Revitalizing Abandoned Mills in India The Case of Tamil Nadu
Description
Revitalizing abandoned buildings contributes to the preserved building's heritage value, while also providing an opportunity for a new use. On the other side, art-driven adaptive reuse focuses on a unique type of adaptive reuse that promotes art and communal spaces. Based on the requirements, a representative building is selected, and a concise proposal for its resurrection is proposed. In addition, depending on the conditions of the sample building, this dissertation gives a set of basic rules.
