PatchBuilder: Hydraulic patch delineation

PatchBuilder is a Python-based research tool for delineating spatially contiguous, homogeneous patches from irregular mesh or rectangular grid cell polygons. The software performs connectivity-constrained Ward hierarchical clustering using two attributes (e.g. depth and velocity) and exports patch- and cell-level results to a GeoPackage.

The software supports an ongoing research study; a formal citation to the associated publication will be added once available.
